Creating a Note document in Rich Text Documents (.rtf)
- To create a note: At the top menu bar, select Data -> New -> Rich Text. Alternatively, you can right-click on the current Database and then select New ->Rich Text.

- Renaming the file and viewing/editing file information
This creates a new Note file, which can be renamed by highlighting and clicking on the file name. Alternatively, you can right-click on the new note file and select "Get Info" to open the Info Pane. Three taps are available in the Info Pane: Generic, Custom, and Properties.
- Editing the note file
To edit a note file in rich text format (.rtf), double-click or single-click to open it. While the note file with a single-click opens it in the preview screen, double-clicking will open up the file in a new window. On the edit screen, the editing bar will appear by clicking the edit icon,
, which then will change to the blue icon,
. This is located in the upper right corner of the edit/preview screen.
- To convert MS Word documents or other file types to rich text format (.rtf), right-click the document -> Convert -> to Rich Text.
