A guide to basic setup and use of EndNote for citation management.

Smart Groups simplify organization by automatically sorting your references. You can decide which items are included in groups based on any category from the reference like keyword, author, notes, title be aware that any reference that fits the definition you create will be added to the Smart Group folder.
Right-click (Ctrl+click for Mac) in the "My Library" area on the left side of the screen, below Trash - OR - go to "Groups" in the tool bar.
Select "Create Smart Group"
Give your group a name that is meaningful to you.
Define inclusion criteria (e.g. Any field contains robotic - OR - Keywords begins with psych)
