EndNote

EndNote installation files for both PC and Mac are available for download through ASAP. When prompted, login with your ABC123 and password and then select "Software Downloads." The EndNote files are available at the top of the Software Downloads page.

For Windows

1. Follow the link above to ASAP and login with your abc123 and password
2. Select "Software Downloads" and then "EndNote for WIndows"
3. Extract the files using the Extract All... function at top of the folder
4. Double-click on the EN20Inst.msi file
5. Click Next
6. Click on Accept for the volume license.
7. Select I accept the license agreement
8. Click on Next
9. Select Installation Type (most users will select Typical option), click Next
10. Select Destination, click Next to accept default location
11. Ready to Install the Application,  click Next to continue
12. Make sure that Microsoft Office is closed to proceed
    1. If you had to close Microsoft Office, click on Retry
13. System will start the Installation
14. Click on Finish once all components have been installed

For macOS

1. Follow the link above to ASAP and login with your abc123 and password
2. Select "Software Downloads" and then "EndNote for MacOS"
3. Click on the Get Endnote Software For OS X link.
4. Double-click on the EndNote_Installer.dmg file.
5. Double-click the "Install EndNote.app" image.
6. It will bring up an image with "Licensed to:UNIV OF TEXAS SAN AN".
7. Click on Install.
8. Enter Administrator password if prompted.
9. Click on Next.
10. Click on Next.
11. Click on Done.
