Your computer asks which program to open the file with after downloading a citation

The video below is shown on PC, however the steps are nearly identical for Mac with the exception that the EndNote application will be located in the Applications folder rather than Program Files

Word asks you to login when you attempt to insert a citation

In Word click the EndNote tab then Preferences

Select the Application tab

Then make sure EndNote is selected
