Need help creating your reading list, adding readings, or requesting new readings? Contact libreserve@utsa.edu.
To request a new item not owned by UTSA in any format for your course:
Use Add New Item > Manual Entry. Fill out the form as prompted and click Add.
Use Add Using DOI or ISBN, if you are requesting books or articles with known ISBN or DOI. This option prepopulates the request form so you don't have to fill it out manually. Click Add.
Multiple types of materials may be requested including articles, books, chapters, e-books, streaming media, scores, and much more.
If you provide an ISBN, it will populate the form.
Click on "My list is ready" to send the list to the library. It will be processed by the library staff.
To edit or add notes to your request, click on ... on the right > Edit.
If your course is not yet loaded in Canvas, please contact libreserve@utsa.edu to request new materials not owned by the Libraries. Streaming media and some books / e-books require additional processing time and may take several weeks to get. Please submit your request as far in advance as possible to ensure timely access for your students. The Libraries team will communicate with you throughout the process.
