This guide provides resources/tips for using LaTeX & BibTeX commands. While this Libguide is intended for any users, we can’t assist non-members of UTSA with any specific questions about using BibTeX and LaTex software programs or coding.

How to configure EndNote to export BibTex

  1. Open Endnote
  2. Navigate to Edit –> Output Styles  –>  Open Style Manager...
  3. From the EndNote Styles screen, scroll down to the BibTex Export entry and click the checkbox, then close the window. 

 

  1. From Edit –> Output Styles, Make sure that the option BibTeX Export is checked in the Output Styles menu as well.

Export EndNote citation to BibTex Format

Follow these steps in Endnote to export citations.

  1. Select the citation
  2. Click File—> Export.
  3. Navigate to the directory where you want to save your BibTex file.
  4. Select Text File (*.txt) from the file type dropdown menu
  5. Save your file as filename.bib
