Accessing Films on Demand LTI

You may use both methods of access - as an External Tool and as Page Apps - to add Films on Demand videos to your Canvas course. Both methods support embedding a video player. Using Method 1 (External Tool) for Films on Demand LTI is similar to AlexanderStreet.

Embedding Films on Demand in a Page

By using Method 2 (Apps on a Page), you may create a page with single or multiple videos, images, and/or text to enhance your course content.

  1.  In your Canvas course, click +Module > +Item > Add a Page. 
  2. Add a Page Name.
  3. Click Add Item.

  1. Click on a page name.

  1. Click Edit on a page.

  1. Click Apps icon and select Library Video - Films on Demand.

Seach and Embed in Films on Demand

  1. Search for your video in Library Video - Films On Demand.
  2. Click on Embed dropdown and select a desired option.

View a Video on a Page

  1. Your video is embedded in a page in Canvas.  You may add additional videos, text, or images to the same page as desired.
  2. Click Save (or Save & Publish).
