Embedding Streaming Media in Canvas

1. To embed a video player, please use Method 1 to access Alexander Street LTI in Canvas: Click on +Module > +Item > External Tool > AlexanderStreet.

If you use Method 2: Add Page > Apps, you can only add a permalink to a video.

2. Uncheck "Load in a New Tab" and click on Add Item. This step will link you to AlexanderPress LTI.

3. Search AlexanderStreet for your video > click on Select This.

4. The LTI creates a permalink accessible to students off campus. You may edit the page name if desired.
5. Click on Add Item.

6. A video is embedded in your course module. You may edit the title here:

7. When you click on the title, a video player is launched.
