The Instruction Program at the UTSA Libraries empowers students to effectively engage with information
to achieve academic excellence and lifelong learning.
The primary mission of the UTSA Libraries instruction program is to support an experiential learning environment for our diverse student community.
Aided by innovative technology and spaces, we will create engaging learning experiences where our students feel welcomed and supported in their information exploration.
Through collaborative relationships with faculty, we will design responsive information literacy curriculum and assessment that reflects the dynamic information ecosystems across disciplines.
Roadrunners will develop the framework to identify their information needs, devise effective search strategies, discover resources that spark creativity, critically evaluate sources, and use information successfully throughout their academic, personal, and professional lives.
