ACRL Framework for Information Literacy in Higher Education
The Framework, created by the Association of College & Research Libraries, is meant to be a starting place for librarians and faculty to integrate information literacy into instruction. The Framework is built around these six frames:
- Authority is Constructed and Contextual
- Information Creation as a Process
- Information has Value
- Research as Inquiry
- Scholarship as Conversation
- Searching as Strategic Exploration
