UTSA Libraries Assessment

Librarians use a variety of qualitative and quantitative assessments to better understand the needs of our students and faculty. Instruction librarians may collaborate with faculty to develop pre-assessments, to create surveys or assignments to assess information literacy learning during class, or to provide post-instruction assessment or instruction.

Tools

LibWizard
Librarians have access to LibWizard, a dual survey and quiz software, through LibGuides. Useful for assessment, surveys, feedback, and easily shared in research guides/course management software.
Poll Everywhere
Useful for quick assessments during class. Respondents can use their phones or answer through the website. The free version does limit responses/use.
