Legal Requirements

All industries must comply with laws and regulations, but some industries are regulated more tightly. Laws and regulations may be federal, state and local.

Trade associations often keep track of the legal information specific to their industries and publish this information on their websites and in newsletters. Journal articles and news are other sources of information on industry legal environment.

CFR is the codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the departments and agencies of the Federal Government.
