Online Library Services

This guide is for the students and faculty who are enrolled in or teaching fully online courses at UTSA.

Support Your Teaching with UTSA Libraries

We have a wide variety of means to support our tenure and non-tenure track faculty.

Please look at our guide to find out how we can help you with:

  • e-books
  • persistent links
  • media digitization
  • course reserves
  • course guides
  • and much more!

Course Reserves

You may request articles and book chapters to be placed on electronic reserves in your online course. We will ensure that all requested reserve items are copyright-compliant.

UTSA Faculty may access the "Library Reading List" self-service Canvas tool to quickly create their online course reading lists and place hard-copy readings on library reserve. Important: extra processing time is required for hard copies and new requests. Please plan accordingly to ensure readings are accessible to students when needed.

Streaming Video

We have a wide variety of streaming video sources that may be used in your Canvas courses. Learn how to find a properly formatted persistent link to ensure seamless off-campus access to the steaming media:
