Classification & Access to Technology
The first part of the student survey collected demographic information to help the UTSA grant team better learn how UTSA students experience textbooks by classification and their access to technology (computers and laptops.) Since OER are online, learning more about UTSA student access to technology is foundational to student success in courses that use OER. During the action planning phase of this grant, the UTSA grant team learned that student access to technology is not tracked at UTSA, so gathering this information would be important.
