Adopt-a-Free-Textbook Grants: Deliverables and Spending

Thank you for adopting OER and free textbooks in your courses!

The cost of higher education prevented 2.4 million low and moderate-income college-qualified high school graduates from completing college in the previous decade, according to the Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistance.

While tuition and fees; room and board; books and supplies; personal expenses; and transportation are all also financial hurdles of attending college, textbooks are the one area where faculty are the key decision-makers and can really make a difference for our students.

We want  you to know that your work helps reduce the costs of attending UTSA, and we appreciate all of your efforts, as do UTSA students!
