Library of Congress Classification
The UTSA Library uses the Library of Congress classification system to assign call numbers to books so that you can find them on the shelves. You'll usually find books on computer science and information under these broad categories. You can also search by the first portion of a call number to find all the titles of books in this range of call number, - for instance, if you click this link HD28 - you can get to see the same as you may be able to physically browse on a shelf at the UTSA Library.
