Search Strategy

  • Consult with your Subject Librarian
  • Conduct a preliminary search
  • Structure the search, i.e. population AND intervention AND outcome
  • Look for related or adjacent SRs
  • Identify relevant terms to include in the search string through literature review and use of database headings/thesauri
  • Develop inclusion/exclusion criteria
  • Consult with your Subject Librarian!
