A Guide to Vocal Resources at UTSA and Beyond

Welcome to the Vocal Resources Guide! This was developed by William Glenn, UTSA Librarian for Music, and UTSA Voice Faculty: Crystal Jarrell Johnson, John Nix, and Christopher Besch.

Annotations for several of the books listed are by Professor Besch, from An Annotated Bibliography on Art Song Repertoire & Resources, and are noted with his initials.

NOTE: During Fall 2020, most print books, CDs, and DVDs are available to check out using our Contactless Delivery options. TechGear is NOT available at this time. Interlibrary Loan is available for online articles and book chapters, with limited service for physical items. TexShare may or may not be available at other libraries.

HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service

HathiTrust's Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS) makes it possible for current UTSA students, faculty and staff to access digitized versions of some physical books held by UTSA Libraries and other UT system libraries, as long as the physical collections are inaccessible.
