Information on degree programs and resources for engineering education at UTSA

This research guide introduces the degree programs that UTSA offers in engineering education, and offers resources for research on the subject.
The Master of Science (M.S.) in Engineering Education is a 30-credit-hour program created by the Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design and the College of Education and Human Development. It integrates research and practice through collaboration between the two colleges. The program offers both thesis and non-thesis options.

The Graduate Certificate in Engineering Education is a 9-credit-hour program offered as a collaborative effort between the Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design and the College of Education and Human Development. The program will have an emphasis on engineering curriculum development, instruction, and assessment methods to support student learning outcomes. It covers history and attributes of different engineering fields. The proposed program also promotes the integration of mathematics and science in the context of engineering.
