Use these indexes and databases to find articles in both professional and scholarly journals. Index means that you can access only abstracts of articles and not the entire full text. You may request full text articles by clicking on the button.

Find images for papers, presentations, and studies in the humanities. Tools for sharing images, curating groups of images, downloading them directly into PowerPoint presentations, and comparing and contrasting images are also included. You can also search Artstor in JSTOR.
- Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals (EBSCO) This link opens in a new windowIndexes more than 2,500 U.S. and international journals in architecture, historic preservation, archaeology, city planning, and interior design. Most coverage is from the 1930s to the present with selective coverage from the 1860s. No full text. Request articles via Get It For Me.

Subject areas include the arts, humanities, social sciences, science, math, and business. Includes the Artstor Digital Library containing millions of images from the world's museums, archives, and libraries.
- Oxford Art Online This link opens in a new windowComprehensive art reference resource and excellent starting place for biographies of artists, architects, patrons, collectors, writers and scholars, as well as discussions of art movements, theory, and criticism. Also provides definitions, bibliographies, and encyclopedic entries concerning almost any art-related topic. Coverage includes the fine arts (painting, sculpture, and architecture) and the decorative arts (ceramics, textiles, jewelry, interior design, furniture, glass, metalwork, etc.).
Provides access to Grove Art Online, Benezit Dictionary of Artists; The Oxford Companion to Western Art; Encyclopedia of Aesthetics; and The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms.
