How to Integrate Google Scholar with Citation Managers
1. Configure Google Scholar:
- Access Settings: In Google Scholar, click the three horizontal lines (or the gear icon) in the top left corner, then select "Settings".
- Select Bibliography Manager: Under "Bibliography manager," choose "Show links to import citations into" and select "EndNote" (or other relevant option) from the dropdown menu.
- Save Changes: Click "Save" to apply the changes.
2. Export Citations:
- Perform a Search: Conduct your search in Google Scholar.
- Find the "Import into EndNote" Link: Under the citation you want to export, locate the "Import into EndNote" link.
- Download the File: Click the "Import into EndNote" link to download a .enw file (or similar) to your computer.
- Open in EndNote: Open the downloaded file in EndNote to import the citation into your library.
