Capital IQ:  steps to access and screen fixed income data/info:

1. Start Capital IQ -  when on the CIQ landing page, select the tab "Screening"
2. From the "Screening" pull-down menu, select and click “Fixed income” from the pull-down Screening menu   
3. Now you can see a number small boxes within the big box entitled “Criteria”
   • If you already have logged in your CIQ account, you can simply clcik this link to get onto and start to further seaarch from the page of Fixed Income Screening
4. Below are some items listed in this big box entitled “Criteria” - Users can select anyone, plus combine them in screening or searching):
   • Credit Ratings
   • Credit Indicators
   • Financial Information
   • Fix Income Securities
   • Corporate Actions
   • Takeover Defenses
   • Company Ownership
   • Holdings / Investments
   • M&A Details
   • Buyback Details
   • Public Offering Details
   • Bankruptcy Details

Capital IQ:  steps to find S&P Credit Ratings for Companies: 

1. Start Capital IQ -  when on the CIQ landing page, select the tab "Screening"
2. From the "Screening" pull-down menu, select "Companies"
3. Select and click the “Entity Credit Rating” - that is located within the left 3^rd small box within the big box entitled “Criteria”
4. At this point, users now can select other options - such as Rating Type and Value, etc. -  to limit the number of retrievals, depending on specific needs for data/info.
