Food Day 2011

Food Day has been organized to raise awareness of issues relating to obesity, supporting sustainable farming, and making real food available to everyone, as well as to push for healthy, affordable food produced in a sustainable, humane way. Learn more at Food Day takes place on Wednesday, October 24th, but there will be food-related events happening all week on campus and around town.

  • Nutrition Tips in the Sombrilla

    Place: UTSA's Sombrilla
  • Lunch & a Movie at the Roadrunner Cafe
    Date: 10/25/2012
    Time: 11am-2pm
    Place: Roadrunner Cafe
    Movie: TBD - either Food, INC or Weight of the Nation
  • Demonstration Kitchen:  
    Culinary Tour of Mexico: Enchiladas al estilo de Guadalajara
    Time: 5:30pm
    Pork Enchiladas, a recipe from a 1918 cookbook

  • Sustainable Food Week Pledge Contest
